We know that eliminating stretch marks is not easy. There are certainly different treatments such as abrasion, laser technology that removes by these ‘scars’ and these can be a good option in the event that the grooves are very pronounced. However, when its size is less, we can use several natural remedies that can help reduce them. Stretch marks can appear with the pregnancy, due to hormonal changes, body growth in adolescence, or by sudden changes in weight. They usually occur in areas like the legs, the buttocks, the breasts, or the belly. Stretch marks can make you feel self conscious and uncomfortable about your appearance. However, if you have got stretch marks there is nothing to worry about as you can easily get rid of them. There are several natural ways to overcome this kind of skin problem.

1.  APRICOTS
Cut and remove seeds of 2-3 apricots. Crush them to paste. Apply this paste on the marks. Then leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. For better result repeat this regularly for 1 month.

 2.  ALOE VERA
Take one aloe vera leave. Remove the thorns and outer skin of a few aloe vera leaves. Extract the gel from inside. Apply this gel on the stretch marks. Leave it for 2 hour. Wash it off with normal water.

 3.  LAVENDER OIL, CHAMOMILE OIL & ALMOND OIL
Take ½ tsp lavender oil, ½ tsp chamomile oil & 2 tsp almond oil. Mix them well. Then apply the paste on the stretch marks. Leave it for 1 hour and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

 4.  OLIVE OIL, ALOE VERA, VITAMIN (E & A) CAPSULE
Take ½ cup virgin olive oil, ½ cup aloe Vera gel, liquid prepared from 6 capsules of Vitamin E & liquid prepared from 4 capsules of Vitamin A. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender. After that pour the mixture into a jar and store it in the fridge. Apply the oil externally all over the places where the stretch marks commonly appear if you do this consistently every day, you may prevent stretch marks.

 5.  LEMON
Lemon is a remedy that can be used both to treat stretch marks and scars. It contains glycol acid and hydroxide acid; an ingredient that can be found in many of the creams that are used against this problem. This ingredient dissolves dead cells and renews the skin. Apply it regularly twice a day to get rid from your marks.

 6.  CARROT PUREE
Steam carrots until they become soft enough to mash and make a paste. Apply the paste onto the area where they are stretch marks and let it sit for as long as possible. And then rinse it off.

7.  COCOA BUTTER
This can be one of the most common remedies for preventing stretch marks that appear with the pregnancy. Apply the cocoa butter on the hips, thighs, buttocks and abdomen in the morning and before bed. Cocoa butter is so effective because it penetrates the upper skin layer and can reach the dermis, known as the second skin layer.

8.  GRAPES
The extract from grapes protects and beautifies the skin because it is one of the best moisturizers. It hydrates and retrieves the effects of dry skin. Let it dries for 20 to 30 minutes then rinse well with lukewarm water. Not only will this help eliminate the stretch marks, but it will also prevent the re-occurrence as well.

9.  POTATO JUICE
Take a medium sized potato and cut it into thick slices. Now take one of the potato pieces and rub it gently on the skin with stretch marks for a few minutes. Make sure the liquid from the potato pieces get in touch with the skin. Allow the potato juice to dry for some time and later on clean the skin with lukewarm water.

10.  SUGAR
Take a tablespoon of raw sugar and add few drops of almond oil and few drops of lemon juice to it. Mix it properly and apply it on the stretch marks and other skin areas. Now gently rub the skin for at least 10 minutes every day before taking a shower. When this exfoliating routine is followed for a month or so, the stretch marks will become light.

11.  EGG WHITE
For stretch marks you must use the egg whites only that contain amino acids and proteins. Take the egg whites of 2 eggs whip it gently with the help of a fork. Now first clean the affected skin area with water and then apply a thick layer of egg whites with a makeup brush. Allow the egg whites to dry completely and then only rinse the area with cold water. Finally apply some olive oil on the skin to keep it well moisturized. Repeat the process daily for at least two weeks in order to get positive results.

12.   ALFALFA
Take some alfalfa power and add a few drops of chamomile oil to form a smooth paste. Now use this paste to massage the affected area two to three times a day. Within one week you can notice huge differences.
